Canadian Business Hall of Fame
The Canadian Business Hall of Fame celebrates the lifetime achievements of Canada’s business leaders. Each year, Inductees are recognized as Companions of the Order of the Canadian Business Hall of Fame for their outstanding contributions to Canada’s economic development and prosperity.
Established in 1979 by Junior Achievement of Canada (JA Canada), the Canadian Business Hall of Fame (CBHF) represents the highest honour in business leadership. Honourees serve as exemplary role models, demonstrating the qualities essential for Canada’s success and competitiveness in a global marketplace. Through their philanthropy and civic engagement, they also play a vital role in strengthening communities. As Companions, they inspire and mentor JA youth—the future leaders of Canada.
Celebrating the leaders of today and inspiring the leaders of tomorrow.
The annual Induction Ceremony & Celebration is the signature national fundraising initiative in support of JA Canada. Across the country, JA offices host Business Halls of Fame recognizing business leaders and entrepreneurs. The proceeds of events fuel our mission.

Junior Achievement
JA Canada inspires the next generation to realize their potential and make a positive impact in their communities. Through our network of local offices, we collaborate with educators, volunteers, and organizations across Canada to deliver immersive learning experiences to young people. JA commits to ensuring accessibility and inclusivity through programs that help youth build transferable skills in work readiness, financial health, and entrepreneurship. Success starts here.
Our History of Inspiring Students to Succeed in School, Life and Business
Since the founding of Junior Achievement in 1919, we have become the world’s largest not-for-profit youth empowerment organization active in over 100 countries. JA has been nominated several times for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Junior Achievement was established in Canada in 1967. Today, our offices serve Canadian youth from coast to coast to coast, delivering more than 400,000 learning experiences annually.

Canadian Business Hall of Fame Display, Brookfield Place
In 2009 Brookfield and JA Canada collaborated to establish a CBHF installation in the lobby of Brookfield Place in Toronto.
Our Companions are featured through a series of banquettes, and we promote an appreciation of business history through a Heritage “Mosaic Mural”.
Aligned with the Brookfield lobby renovation, we are looking forward to creating a new modern installation by Fall 2025. For more information about this project, contact info@cbhf.ca.
