Welcome Four Exceptional Companions

Mr. André Bérard, Mr. N. Murray Edwards, Mr. Walter Hachborn and Ms. Heather Reisman, to be honoured

Toronto, ON, May 4, 2015 – In recognition and celebration of their lifetime achievements, four outstanding business leaders will be inducted as Companions of the Order of the Business Hall of Fame by Chancellor Mr. L.R. Wilson during the 37th annual Gala Dinner and Induction Ceremony. 

Tonight, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, these Canadian leaders will be honoured for their enduring contributions to the Canadian economy and society. 

This year’s Inductees are: 

  • Mr. André Bérard, Corporate Director, National Bank of Canada
  • Mr. N. Murray Edwards, Chairman, Canadian Natural Resources Limited
  • Mr. Walter Hachborn, Founder, Home Hardware
  • Ms. Heather Reisman, Chair & CEO, Indigo Books & Music Inc.

The Order of the Business Hall of Fame is the highest honour of its kind in Canadian business. Each year, business leaders are nominated by their peers and chosen by an independent selection committee representing Canada’s foremost business and academic institutions. The process is managed in its entirety by Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions, the National Partner of the Canadian Business Hall of Fame.
